Well, if your going for a sorta 80′s Gordon Gekko look, which seems to be the case here, pleats are not out of place (they combine well with the braces), even though I agree on the point that pleats are seldom flattering. Anyway, they are a 100 times better than the jeggings he wore a while ago. Great look.
I agree, this is a great look and one of the best from Mr Jurado. I like the shoes. Nice light & picture.
However I’m not a big fan of wearing so many bracelets, it makes the look a bit busy to me. I also think the knot could be slightly bigger.
Finally, one can easily distinguish all the fingers in your pocket, I don’t find it very elegant. It makes me wonder if the thighs should have been enlarged a tiny bit.
@Thomas, I have no problem with pleats and imo it’s already the next best thing. Plenty of pics floating around in the blogosphere with higher rise pleated trousers. Finally, I dare say, gone with the low cut pants and trousers! :)
What I actually meent with my comment is that the pleats in this particular outfit doesn’t do this gets physique any favors. From previous pictures I’ve noticed a quite athletic build, here his legs look “boxy”. Perhaps this could be solved with a crease to make the pants look visually smaller from the core down, could be me as well though…
@M, I see what you are saying about the fit of the pants. A belt may make them look better by “giving” him a waist. (I’m a fan of pleats also btw)
Not sure if you saw any of Mr. Jurado’s other posts but, this look from him is REFRESHINGLY DIFFERENT from all the other outfits he has shared. I’m just happy I didn’t have to see him in his jeggings again.
