@ Wale S. Nice outfit, so much potential here. Wanna take this to another planet? Delete the tie and vest. Find a vintage dark reddish leather belt with a subdued gold buckle (look up Yves Saint Laurent or Cartier) and wear a pair of distressed boots in a dark tan. If you get cold, put on a vintage green down filled jacket to offset the cargo pants and boom, through the stratosphere you go!
Im not a wearer of this particular look in general (cargos, etc.) but i think he executed it well, except for 3 things…..
-Shirt. ANY denim shirt that has little to no sheen to the fabric would look 10x better. Something that looks more natural like aged, worn denim would take this outfit to a higher level. (sorry trashness)
-Vest. Something w texture but less busy would be great. The corduroy on shoulders of this vest are good. the rest of it takes away from beauty. less ornamentation would be nice.
-Tie. Its just not sturdy enough fabric to coincide w ruggedness of rest of outfit. Any kind of knitted tie or heavy wool fabric tie would give a better overall effect.
The pants, bag, shoes, belt all look great individually & together. And you did an excellent job on fit in shirt & pants.
Not a bad look except for the shirt. Not a fan of cut aways and the extreme cutaway just screams “eighties!” at me(i.e. out of date and a mistake we cringe over now) but the major fail is those stoopid breast pockets! Why?!! Americans love those stupid things – very hard to buy a shirt in the US without one or two redundant breast pockets.
