So, what do you think?

  1. Shawn Says:

Everything looks brilliant to me, except for the shoes. I especially love the jacket, tie and trousers combination!

  2. Nate Says:

Great effort for 150 bucks! Love that jacket. Good fit all round. Nice ps too. Can’t get on board with the shoes though sorry bud.

  3. Rick Says:

Nice look, if i were you i would have the shoes recolored into a more even tone

  4. Timothy Says:

I love it, you look fantastic!! Great fit, beautiful colours and exceptional pattern mixing!! Really like the jacket’s pattern.

I think the shoes look a bit too distressed for this outfit and you’d have been better served with something else. Those shoes would probably work better with something more casual like jeans… (though even then probably not my thing, but that’s personal)

    Solid 5 stars nonetheless, bravo!

  5. Mr Dan Says:

    Job well done, definately flawless!

  6. Sherlock Says:

I’m with the majority here.. brilliant use of colours and textures, bad shoes.

  7. Maarten Says:

Damn, nice look Wale! And I have to agree with the others.. Not a fan of your shoes here.

  8. Wale S. Says:

Thanks for the feedback guys. Frankly was on the fence about the shoes myself as I do normally wear them more casually.

Most people will tell you not to take this thing too seriously but I’ll admit freely that I think long and hard about how I get dressed. Here I struggled a bit with footwear choice so I’d welcome some thoughts.

  9. Timothy Says:

I think anything from a chocolate brown to a very dark brown would work well with the jacket, shirt, tie and still have enough contrast against those trousers. Given the outfit I think anything would work, oxfords, derbys, monks… I’d go with calf skin but you could probably even make suede chukkas work.

I can’t tell if your jacket is blue or charcoal, but if you happened to have shoes in that colour, then those would definitely work as well.

If you want to go with shoes that are any lighter, then you have to change your trousers. But I wouldn’t because these are perfect.
