I just don’t understand the whole “planned sloppiness” thing, especially in menswear.
Maybe its because i didn’t grow up with $ but it NEVER makes sense to me to pay lots of $ (sneakers alone cost about 300-400) on an outfit and when you put it on it looks like you spent a total of $10 at a thrift store.
Maybe if suit was navy blue & well tailored and swap shirt for a crisp, fitted white 1 w same sneakers and it would look 10x more stylish, chic, whatever you want to call it.
I love the shoes, but compared with the suit I think it’s a mistake. A little bit too much thought was put in this outfit, which results in a overthought combination that no one would wear. The suit is a great creation in it’s one wat and it doesn’t need the shoes. It brings the whole image out of balance.
